It's dreadful to hear of such things. My heart goes out to all the poor people who have suffered losses.

I'm sorry- the U.S. has so many school shootings. A few years before I started going to highschool a teacher at my school was threatened by a student with a gun. Thankfully no one was hurt but it definately makes you nervous.

Yeah But I'm still not worrying about the safety of schools here, since this was only the 4th school shooting in the history of Finland. And I think this was the first one that had this many victims. But still, when the Virginia Tech massacre happened, I remember thinking that it's great that nothing like that happens in Finland. And now it did.

after hearing about it multiple times a year you try to create your own little bubble and try not to let it get to you .

Well, that's probably the only thing you can do when these things happen..

yeah- usually there are few outward signs that a person is going to go psycho- thats what is the most scary!

It was kinda disturbing how the killer had been posting videos about the massacre on YouTube, days before it actually happened..

really? saying that he was going to do it? why didn't anyone report it?

Not a lot of people saw the video, I guess. And a few of the people who did were other people from around the world who were also planning a school shooting
